March 5, 2015 Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome Association International Day of Awareness. Chandra is a spokesperson for the Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome Association (CVSA) as a result of her daughter being diagnosed as a sufferer. CVS is episodes of severe nausea which leads to vomiting and terrible abdominal pain, without a specific cause. The episodes are cyclic in their occurrences, usually starting around the same time of day, or during a specific activity or circumstance, and lasting the same length of time.
